skill scan

As part of the apprenticeship application process, every candidate is required to complete an online self-assessment known as a Skills Scan. This Skills Scan is designed to ensure that the knowledge, skills, and behaviours associated with the selected apprenticeship standard will support the apprentice's development and fulfil the needs of the business. Candidates should take the time to reflect on their experiences and competencies while completing the Skills Scan, as this will not only help in identifying areas for improvement but also highlight their strengths. A thorough and honest assessment can significantly enhance their chances of being matched with an apprenticeship that aligns with their career aspirations.
